Stern Pinball, Inc. and Toho International, Inc., the subsidiary of the Japanese entertainment studio Toho Co., Ltd, announce a new line of pinball machines based on the iconic Toho film franchise featuring the King of the Monsters, Godzilla! The Godzilla pinball machines are available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition (LE) models.
Godzilla is the longest running film franchise created by Toho, with thirty-two films produced since 1954. The popularity of the films have made Godzilla one of the most recognizable symbols in pop culture worldwide. In addition to numerous accolades and cinematic awards for film, music, and special effects, the Godzilla film series and licensed characters have generated over $1 billion in merchandise sales around the world.
In this monster-packed pinball adventure, players become Godzilla! The evil aliens, the Xiliens, use mind control rays to take control of the monsters King Ghidorah, Gigan, Megalon, Ebirah, and Titanosaurus. The Xiliens are demanding all of Earth’s resources. Godzilla and its allies, Mothra, Rodan, and Anguirus, battle the Xilien invasion with the goal of conquering Mechagodzilla to become King of the Monsters!
Chaos and destruction ensue on the playfield with Godzilla multiball, started by shooting one of the various shots in and through the centrally located skyscraper. In the Premium and LE models, a motor actuates the skyscraper, diverting balls through each of its five stories as it collapses, ultimately locking three balls on its roof. The Premium/LE playfield also features a collapsing bridge ramp. This animated breakaway ramp is guarded by a custom molded Godzilla and can divert pinballs back to the flipper or directly onto the playfield during Bridge Attack multiball.
On the Premium and LE models, Mechagodzilla features a motorized three-bank target set which rotates to reveal a spinner and jump ramp. Players will engage the Kaiju in battle by launching pinballs with the jump ramp and bashing the magnetic ball catch on its chest to start Mechagodzilla multiball.
All models of Godzilla pinball machines feature an innovative “Magna Grab” magnetic newton ball, capable of catching pinballs from five different shot paths, including off the plunge. This device can also divert pinballs to set up shots from the upper left flipper. The game also includes the iconic title song “Godzilla” by Blue Oyster Cult, stunning hand-drawn artwork by Zombie Yeti, intricate wireform ramps, three spinning targets (Heat Ray, Mechagodzilla, and Monster Rampage), three flippers, three “powerline” themed stand-up targets and a UFO pop pumper. The game highlights video and audio from ten* Toho Showa Era Godzilla films to create a one-of-a-kind immersive Godzilla pinball experience.
Godzilla pinball machines also debut Stern’s Insider Connected system, which includes a QR code reader on the bottom arch that enables players to interact with the game and this new network in a variety of ways. Stern Insider Connected provides new entertainment and player engagement features and an operator focused tool set to drive location play and remotely manage every aspect of the machines. Insider Connected goes live with the launch of Godzilla, with the full scope of features scheduled for roll out over the next year.
CHICAGO, IL – October 19, 2022 –Stern Pinball, Inc., announces a new state-of-the-art The Mandalorian pinball Topper accessory compatible with the Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition (LE) models of The Mandalorian.
The Mandalorian is a critically acclaimed, Emmy-winning hit original series, streaming exclusively through Disney+. The series follows the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy, teaming up with key allies and protecting Grogu, while battling dangerous enemies and forces across their journey.
The Mandalorian-inspired Topper accessory introduces exclusive new gameplay features while transporting the player inside the cockpit of the Razor CrestTM, using a 3D holographic display in vivid color. New gameplay features include Mandalorian MadnessTM, a mini wizard mode, and BeskarTM Bonanza, a progressive mode that awards all upgrades in the FoundryTM.
The Mandalorian-inspired Topper leverages the Stern Insider ConnectedTM platform to enhance the gameplay experience. In addition to a player’s username and icon, the topper displays a player’s lifetime Encounter upper mini playfield accuracy percentage, plus lifetime BeskarTM collected for all games played while logged in to their Insider Connected player account. Players can also earn exclusive Insider Connected Achievements. The Topper comes equipped with Competition Mode functionality, displaying all player scores with the current high score being highlighted.

Launch Parties and Operator Machine Tech Alerts
CHICAGO, IL – October 26, 2022 – Stern Pinball, Inc. expands its award-winning Insider Connected platform with new features benefiting both players and operators across home and commercial environments. New features launched today include official Insider Connected launch parties and operator machine tech alerts.
Beginning with James Bond 007, Stern launch parties are even better with Insider Connected. Upon logging into their Insider Connected account, players will be able to discover official launch parties near them. By scanning in and playing on any connected machine at an official launch party, players will be able to achieve a special digital Launch Party Badge on their profile. It’s more fun to compete!
Operators with Insider Connected Professional accounts can register their entertainment locations for discovery by players on Insider Connected. Official launch parties at these locations will be showcased both on the player homepage and in the location directory. As an additional perk to hosting an official launch party, locations will automatically have a high score leaderboard generated on their James Bond 007 pinball machines, driving repeat gameplay and new player participation. This will extend any Insider Connected Pro operator’s location entertainment experience which will drive revenue and excitement. Supreme Gesture:
Redefining the most wonderful time of the year, here’s an incredible heartwarming story with a huge shoutout to Orange County Pinballs for making the pinball connection! Brian McCormack and Dan Goldsmith, a recently converted pinhead, have become great friends of the respected CEO of Rush Medical Center, Dr. Omar Lateef. Dr. Lateef and the entire team at Rush have made an incredible difference in the Covid-19 response for Chicago. Meeting Omar was a pleasure and he is one of the most humble and kind individuals on the planet.
Brian and Dan found out that Dr. Lateef and his son are huge sneakerheads and wanted to surprise him with a tour of the Stern factory and the opportunity to check out the one of a kind Supreme pinball machine. What started off as a special VIP factory tour with Gary Stern, ended with the ultimate gift of all… a donation to the Rush Medical System supporting programs for at-risk patients!
Needless to say for the first time in his life according to the Doctor himself, he was truly at a loss of words and overwhelmed with the gesture…plus it doesn’t hurt to get the instant approval and wow factor from his son in the process!

Stern Pinball, Inc. proudly announces a new line of pinball machines celebrating the iconic Canadian progressive rock band, Rush. Rush pinball machines are available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition (LE) models.
Rush first burst onto the scene when its song, Working Man, crossed the pirate radio airwaves from Toronto, Canada to Cleveland, Ohio and then onto the rest of North America and the world. Their magnum opus, 2112, represents one of progressive rock’s greatest works. Rush’s music remains in constant rotation to this day. Absolutely uncompromising in every conceivable way, the band featured bassist, keyboardist, and lead vocalist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and the late drummer, percussionist, and lyricist Neil Peart.
Stern’s Rush pinball machines, reflect the energy, excitement, and experience of a live Rush concert. In this epic music pinball adventure, players will travel with Rush through time. Immersed in exclusive Rush concert footage and guided by custom speech from Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee, and fellow Canadian Rock Hall of Famer, Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies, players will experience Rush and their iconic music as never before. This Rush pinball concert under glass features sixteen iconic songs, accentuated by sound and lighting effects. Songs include Headlong Flight, Far Cry, One Little Victory, Working Man, 2112, Tom Sawyer, The Spirit of Radio, Freewill, Cygnus X-1 (Book One: The Voyage and Book Two: Hemispheres), The Big Money, Subdivisions, Limelight, Fly By Night, La Villa Strangiato, Bastille Day, and Red Barchetta.
Rush pinball machines include Stern’s new Insider Connected™ system, which enables players to interact with the game and a global network of players in a variety of ways. Stern Insider Connected provides dynamic entertainment and player engagement features. Insider Connected also provides an operator focused toolset to drive location play and remotely manage every aspect of the machines. Travel back in time with Rush by shooting pinballs through a custom sculpted, electromagnetic Time Machine. Players will explore Red Barchetta, Subdivisions, and Fly By Night Multiball action. The Rush Premium and LE model pinball experience includes a motorized ramp with custom lighting effects and a custom sculpted Clockwork Angels Clock, inspired from Neil Peart’s bass drum from their Time Machine Tour. This motorized clock illuminates, and when it strikes midnight players will be transported to a Headlong Flight Multiball frenzy.
Additional features on the Premium and LE models include a custom subway system, locking pinballs to unleash a high energy Far Cry Multiball. The ‘Dead End’ vertical upkicker propels pinballs up an additional wireform ramp return for non-stop pinball action. As an encore, a three-bank of musical drop targets guard a secret ball lock for players to discover an adrenalized Freewill Multiball to continue their musical pinball journey.
Limited to 1,000 LE machines globally, the highly collectible LE version includes the Expression Lighting System™. With 96 intelligent RGB LEDs, the Expression Lighting System enables full color spectrum control. Positioned in pockets cut into the cabinet sides to provide color themed full playfield illumination, this integrated playfield lighting system is synchronized to custom light shows specifically designed for every song and dynamically responsive to game events. The LE version also includes an exclusive full color mirrored backglass inspired by Clockwork Angels, iconic custom cabinet artwork, custom high gloss and powder-coated guitar-shaped pinball armor, a custom designer-autographed bottom arch, exclusive inside art blades, upgraded audio system, anti-reflection pinball playfield glass, shaker motor, a sequentially numbered plaque, and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Stern Chairman and CEO Gary Stern.

CHICAGO, IL and LAS VEGAS, NV – December 28, 2021 – Stern Pinball, Inc., will be returning to the Consumer Electronics Show virtually and not in-person. Historically the pinball games in our CES booth attract large crowds. Given the current fast spread of COVID in many parts of the world, we concluded our virtual attendance would offer the most protection to pinball fans.
Highlighted this year will be Stern’s Insider Connected, the greatest technological advance to pinball in decades, giving players even more reasons to play. Insider Connected lets players track scores and offers new achievements for connected pinball machines. Through their mobile phones or computers, players can access their profiles, post scores, find the locations of connected machines, or explore pinball activities in their area.
Insider Connected Pro provides tools for commercial operators to improve earnings and operational efficiency through remote updates and diagnostics. Twitch Pinball Superstar Jack Danger Joins Stern Pinball’s Game Design Studio
CHICAGO, IL – December 20, 2021 – Stern Pinball, Inc., announced the hiring of Jack Danger in the role of Game Designer. Jack is best known for being a Twitch and Stern Brand Ambassador. Recently he created his first hit game design, Stern’s Jurassic Park Home EditionTM pinball machine.
Jack brings a unique and diverse game design perspective to Stern Pinball. He started his career as an animator. He worked on commercials, music videos, and feature films for almost 20 years prior to launching his own design studio. After borrowing pinball machines to place at his studio, Jack got bit by the pinball bug that transformed his professional career forever.
Through Twitch, Jack transitioned into streaming pinball 7 days a week, launching the official Dead Flip Pinball streaming channel. The Dead Flip Pinball channel pioneered livestream pinball, promoting Jack to Twitch Ambassador status, and creating the official “Pinball” category on the Twitch platform. After a decade of successful pinball reveal streams, hosting of major eSports events, and becoming an official Stern Brand Ambassador, Jack was given an opportunity to design Stern’s new Home Edition machine.
